Transit Marketing, LLC created this brand for a new transit system in Elk Grove, a fast growing suburban community in the Sacramento area.  Elk Grove views itself as very progressive and has a highly educated population.  The name e-tran was selected to reflect the community's image and communicate a 21st century approach to transportation.  Some of e-tran's buses are hybrid electric and offer riders satellite TV and wireless internet access.  Hence the "e" stands for Elk Grove, electric, environmental, efficient and a variety of other positive attributes. We have worked with Elk Grove to carry the brand through in a variety of vehicle designs, bus stop signage, two sub-brands (e-van and ez-tran) for the paratransit and neighborhood services, passenger information and promotional materials.
